Access to the cottage will normally be given from 2.00pm onwards.  The keys to the holiday cottage will be left in a key safe opposite the front door or if preferred, we can arrange a “meet and greet” to show you the ropes, i.e. tell you about the local hotels, bars, restaurants and cafes around Aberdeenshire. We can let you know where the local shops and garages are and tell you about other places of interest, such as Scottish castles and museums.  Although the holiday cottage is self-catering, the shower rooms and bathroom will all contain ‘Bayliss & Harding’ shampoos, shower gels and soap to get you through your first night and morning.

There will also be a ‘Welcome Pack’ of basic supplies such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread & butter so breakfast can be had the next day before you start your adventures.  There will also be a bottle of wine to help you relax after your journey to reach the cottage.
